general public. Its purpose is to monitor the most
current industry standards and practices for Indoor Air
Quality Professionals and list only those Mold
Inspectors who meet the following criteria:
- Have been trained and certified by a nationally
recognized independent IAQ
certifying body.
- Fulfill all continued education prerequisites
required to maintain their annual certifications.
- Operate in strict compliance with
IESO standards and
guidelines for the inspection and assessment of
indoor mold contamination and mold sampling
protocols.
- Utilize only RespirNet authorized
accredited laboratories for sample analysis
- Offer analytical data reviewed by a
CIE, CIEC,
and/or CIAQM.
Knowledge is the key to effectively addressing indoor
