RespirNet Standards and Requirements for becoming a Certified Mold Inspector in the State of Iowa:

Must be trained and certified by a nationally recognized independent IAQ certifying body.
Must fulfill all continued education prerequisites required to maintain their annual certifications.
Must operate in strict compliance with IESO standards and guidelines for the investigation and assessment of indoor mold contamination and mold sampling protocols.
Must utilize only RespirNet authorized accredited laboratories for sample analysis
Must offer analytical data reviewed by a CIE, CIEC, and/or CIAQM.
