RespirNet Standards and Requirements for becoming a Certified Mold Inspector in the State of Mississippi:
  • Must be trained and certified by a nationally recognized independent IAQ certifying body.
     
  • Must fulfill all continued education prerequisites required to maintain their annual certifications.
     
  • Must operate in strict compliance with IESO standards and guidelines for the investigation and assessment of indoor mold contamination and mold sampling protocols.
     
  • Must utilize only RespirNet authorized accredited laboratories for sample analysis
     
  • Must offer analytical data reviewed by a CIE, CIEC, and/or CIAQM.
